Obtained BA degree from Shillong college under North Eastern Hill University and Pursued his LLB from ILS Law College Law college in Pune, Maharashtra.

Enrolled as an Advocate under bar Council of Assam in 2002 and practiced in the Guwahati High Court Kohima Bench and subordinates Court of Nagaland in criminal, civil and service matter.

appointed in Zunheboto District Court as Judicial Magistrate Second Class & Assistant to DC from 30-07-2003 to 3-10-2005 under contract basis. then in 2007 as Judicial Magistrate First Class, Peren District Court. Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) on 2018 at Guwahati High Court Kohima Bench.

He is currently posted as District & Session Judge in Zunheboto District Court w.e.f 27-09-2023 till date.
